I’ve learned you are a passionate lover, who holds hands, and yearns to exchange affection.
But I did not learn this by you.
I’ve learned you have great desires, fears, and plans for our child. That you learn, teach, and consult for the sake of our child.
But I did not learn this by you.
I know that you have dreams and hopes to be a better person and plead to share your life, and to have another share their life as partners, as equals. And that you are capable of being vulnerable yet still ask for help, and demand the same of them.
But I did not learn this by you.
I know that you strive to understand and to be understood.
But I did not learn this by you.
I only learn these things by watching you with others.
